The basic story behind Maroskan can be found in the link below, and you have probably also come across the Maroskan Foundation.

But the Maroskan foundation actually became a reality before Maroskan really took shape. It was the encounter with orphans and vulnerable children that sparked the dream of an online universe of authentic Moroccan crafts.

Besides my passion for Moroccan craftsmanship, the idea of supporting small projects in Morocco has become part of my driving force. It makes so much sense to use the country's resources to give something back to the country.
