The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases made from Maroskan at www.maroskan.com

Merchandise

As all items at Maroskan are handmade, there may be variations in the finished product. Several of the products are unique, which is why there is only one of each edition here. However, we strive to meet requests and match the demand we receive.

Ordering

At www.maroskan.com you can only order goods via our webshop. Subject to price increases, tax changes, currency changes, sold out/discontinued products and typing errors.

All prices on the website are in DKK and include VAT and taxes. Prices are valid for customers residing in Denmark, excluding the Faroe Islands and Greenland, unless otherwise agreed.

Payment options

Maroskan accepts online payments with VISA, Visa/Dankort, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Mobilepay.

There is no charge for payment by credit card.

Once you have completed a purchase, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Remember to check your spam folder if you do not receive your order confirmation.

Payment will only be deducted from your account when the physical item is shipped. A larger amount can never be deducted than what you have authorized at the time of purchase.

All amounts on the website are inclusive of VAT. The website uses the following currencies for pricing: Denmark - Kroner (DKK)

Maroskan uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol which means your data is safe and cannot be read by other outsiders.

Maroskan's own website also uses encryption with SSL protocol.

Delivery

The delivery time for your order is 2-4 business days in Denmark. We always aim to deliver as quickly as possible.

Free delivery in Denmark with purchase about 499 DKK if you choose delivery to the nearest parcel shop. With the exception of items over 20 kg/piece goods, which can only be delivered privately and by Post Nord. A surcharge of DKK 79.00 is charged for home delivery (delivery directly to your home with both GLS and Post Nord).

When purchasing under 499 DKK, a surcharge of 39 DKK will be charged for shipping to the parcel shop.

For delivery to a private address (delivery directly to your home with both GLS and Post Nord), a surcharge of DKK 79 is applied.

Pickup from our warehouse is free of charge.

Delivery methods apply to Denmark and within the EU.

As a rule, Maroskan ships goods with GLS - Private and GLS - Parcel shop.

Maroskan reserves the right to ship the order in part or in full. Delivery is considered to have taken place when the goods have come into your possession.

You will always receive a track and trace number so you can follow your package from our warehouse to your home.

Orders are not shipped on weekends and holidays.

Shipments abroad are by appointment.

When picking up in a parcel shop:

If you do not pick up your order at the chosen delivery point within the pick-up deadline, we will receive the package back. In such cases, we reserve the right to deduct our total shipping and handling fees when we credit your order. The same terms apply if you have entered the wrong delivery address on your order.

If you want to buy the item again, you need to place a new order.

Right of withdrawal

When you shop at Maroskan, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on all items, except gift cards.

The cooling-off period expires 14 days after the day you:

  • Received your item
  • Physical possession of the last item in the case of a contract for several different items ordered in one order and delivered individually.
  • Obtained physical possession of the last lot or part in the case of a contract for the delivery of goods consisting of several lots or parts.

You must notify Maroskan within 14 days of receipt that you regret your purchase.

If the deadline expires on a Saturday or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the following business day.

Wish to use the right of withdrawal, must be sent by email info@maroskan.com. The message must clearly state why you want to return your item.

Maroskan is not obligated to return your item if the deadline is not met.

We will not exchange your item, but you can always return your purchase for a refund or a gift card valid for one year after the purchase/issue date.

You cannot cancel your purchase by simply refusing to receive the goods without giving us clear prior notice.

Returns

If you have agreed with Maroskan that you wish to return purchased goods, please return the goods as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase.

Maroskan is not obligated to refund your item if the deadline is not met.

You bear the risk for the item from the time you receive it until the item is returned to Maroskan, who will sign for the transfer.

You are solely responsible if the package does not reach us. A receipt for a postal shipment is not a valid proof of shipment of the package. Maroskan is not responsible for replacing goods that do not reach us. Therefore, it is important that the package is sent insured and that it can be tracked.

Condition of the item upon return

You are liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods. This means that you may try the product in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store.

If the item has been tried on in addition to what is described above, it is considered used and of impaired value. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you will receive a minor part or none of the purchase amount back. It is up to Maroskan to assess the condition of the item.

When returning the item, you are responsible for ensuring that it is packed securely. The package must be as well wrapped as when you received it.

We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it could possibly result in an impairment of the item.

The buyer bears the risk of the package/item until Maroskan receives it.

If your return is damaged on arrival, it is your responsibility and the money will not be refunded. Therefore, always keep the postal receipt and Track and Trace number so you can contact the shipping company for compensation for the damage.

Refund of purchase amount

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you must pay for the package to be returned. As a service, we offer an insured return label from GLS. The price for this service is 39 DKK including VAT per label (with the exception of larger products that cannot be shipped with GLS, such as carpets and furniture). In this case, the price for return is agreed individually by email with us and you are liable if any damage occurs during transportation.

Maroskan will return your credit as soon as we have received your item and verified that the item meets the conditions for the right of return.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We cannot make a refund to a third person (a person other than the original purchaser), even if this is a gift.

The refund can be withheld until Maroskan has received the goods back.

You can also cancel the purchase by giving clear notice and delivering it personally to the above address by prior arrangement.

Remember to include a copy of the order confirmation and fill out the return form. You can find the returns portal right below.

Please note, Maroskan does not accept packages sent cash on delivery or sent to a parcel shop.

Right of complaint

Should any damage occur during the shipment of your goods, please contact us immediately so we can help you get an exchange or refund.

In cases of misdelivery, damage and defects, we will of course pay the shipping costs.

It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect/damage has not occurred as a result of incorrect use of the product, normal wear and tear or other damage-causing behavior with the product.

Products are covered by a 24-month warranty in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The warranty applies to all defects in material and workmanship. Remember to save the receipt.

Complaints regarding defects must be notified to Maroskan within a reasonable time after receipt of the goods. If you complain within two months, it is considered reasonable time.

The item must always be returned in proper packaging.

Remember to also get a receipt for shipment so that we can refund shipping costs. We pay the freight in connection with the complaint by sending you a return label as a pdf via e-mail.

If you choose to return a claim without contacting us and with a different shipping method, we will cover your "reasonable" shipping costs.

The claim is waived in the event of incorrect or unusual operation of the product.

The following is important when you return the item to us:

When you return the item, please state what the problem is in as much detail as possible. This is not a requirement, but it facilitates our case handling and minimizes the handling time for the complaint.

You must send the item as a package so it is insured and traceable if you choose to return the package with a shipping method other than the one we offer.

Maroskan is not responsible for replacing goods for complaints that do not arrive. Therefore, it is important that the package is sent insured and that it can be tracked.

We only accept packages sent directly to the address. It is your responsibility to make sure it arrives.

Goods and disclaimer:

In addition to the above-mentioned right of withdrawal and right of complaint, Maroskan does not assume any liability for the delivered product.

Marochan's products must meet the requirements set by the manufacturer during quality checks at the factories, but be aware that from production to production there may be minor changes in color, pattern, material etc. This may be because the manufacturer has made a minor improvement or that it was no longer possible to use the same material or similar.

Force Majeure:

Maroskan is not liable for non-performance or delayed performance of agreements due to force majeure, including war, riots, civil unrest, government intervention, strike, lockout, import and export bans, labor shortages, or any other cause beyond Maroskan's control that will delay or prevent the delivery of a product.

In such cases, delivery shall be postponed for a period corresponding to the duration of the hindrance and the delivery shall be considered timely in all respects.

Right of appeal:

If you want to complain about your purchase, you should contact Maroskan as soon as possible. If we are unable to find a solution, you can file a complaint with the Complaint Resolution Center if the conditions for this are met:

What we do with your personal information (privacy policy):

In order for you to purchase products and thereby enter into an agreement with us at Maroskan.com, we need the following information:

Name, address, phone number and email address.

We register and disclose the personal data that is necessary in order to deliver the product to you.

We do not share personal information with third parties unless this is necessary to fulfill the order.

The personal data is registered with Maroskan and stored for 5 years, after which the data is deleted.

When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it is always done with your explicit consent, so that you are informed of exactly what information is being collected and why.

Only Maroskan employees have access to the information registered about you.

As registered with Maroskan, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to insight into what information is registered about you.

Changes to trading conditions:

Maroskan reserves the right to change these terms and conditions to the extent necessary.

This can be to adapt the conditions for changing legal requirements or similar.
