To keep the inside of the basket clean for as long as possible, you can use an inner cover and insert it.
The RITO basket is handmade in Marrakech, which specializes in wicker and has done so for generations.
It is woven from rattan straw, which is made from a tropical climbing palm native to Australia, Asia and Africa.
As a material, rattan is very flexible and strong. It is similar to bamboo, but somewhat more durable than bamboo. That's why rattan is often used in the production of everything from baskets and trays to larger furniture.
Like all other wicker at Maroskan, RITO is timeless and represents durability and sustainability. Not least, rattan is environmentally friendly as it is 100 % biodegradable.
