Large Moroccan flat basket BASK, hand woven in natural/white rattan straw.
BASK is ideal as a bread basket for all kinds of bread, but can also be used for other serving items, including dried fruit, nuts, cookies and more.
Many people also use BASK as wall decoration or for dried flowers, stones and napkins. In the hallway for keys and knick-knacks and in the room for jewelry and rubber bands. The possibilities are endless.

BASK is handmade in Marrakech, which specializes in wicker and has done so for generations.
It is woven from rattan straw, which is made from a tropical climbing palm native to Australia, Asia and Africa.
As a material, rattan is very flexible and strong. It is similar to bamboo, but somewhat more durable than bamboo. That's why rattan is often used in the production of everything from baskets and trays to larger furniture.
