The wool is naturally surrounded by lanolin, which forms a protective coating on the fibers, making it harder for stains to penetrate.

Alternatively, dab the stain gently with a damp cloth, do not rub.

The carpet benefits best from being dry cleaned in a laundry.

In winter when it snows, you can lay the carpet out in the snow for a few hours. This is the most gentle and effective way to deep clean at home.

The folds will settle over time. Can otherwise be ironed gently with a cloth or tea towel in between.
